I supervise BSc, MSc and PhD students as well as postdoctoral researchers and visiting scholars.
PhD Students
I am always looking for motivated PhD candidates who are eager to learn and explore. My research lies at the intersection of geometry, statistics, and applications. An ideal candidate should have a strong mathematical background along with coding skills (e.g. an MSc in Mathematics, Engineering, or Statistics). Please contact me before submitting an official application to the Department of Statistical Science. Keep your email short and briefly state your interests and background. Please attach to the e-mail a copy of your transcript to date and you CV. In the e-mail please state whether or not you are looking for a scholarship, and whether you qualify as a home or overseas student (as the scholarships are different).
Please check this open call if you are searching for a PhD: Graphs for Causal Discovery (Graphs4Causal)
BSc and MSc Students
I typically supervise three BSc theses from the Bachelor in Statistics at UCL, and three MSc dissertations from both the MSc in Statistics and the MSc in Data Science at UCL. Please contact me by email once the selection procedure within the Department of Statistical Science opens.
Visiting Researchers
Having spent much of my PhD as a visiting researcher and now collaborating with colleagues worldwide, I am always happy to host research visitors (PhD level and above). If you are interested, please get in touch with details of your research objectives during your stay at UCL.
